Intro to Rally

Are you looking to build a stronger relationship with your dog while having fun?

Then, AKC Rally may be the sport for you!

In Rally, a special course is designed by a Rally judge with 10-20 signs that ask you to perform different exercises with your dog. These signs can include various turns and commands such as sit, down, stay, and more.

You and your dog will navigate the course together, side-by-side, at your own brisk pace.

The intro to Rally class is a novice AKA beginner course for those just getting started, or those wanting to expand their novice skills!

During the course we will:

  • Explore signs associated with a novice course,

  • Teach you and your dog how to perform novice tasks,

  • Learn how to correctly navigate a course,

  • Build a strong working relationship with your dog,

  • Learn and understand the rules,

  • Go over how to sign up and compete,

  •  HAVE FUN!

Whether you just train for fun or decide to compete, Rally develops better teamwork between you and your dog. Just as importantly, it will sharpen your dog’s obedience skills and behavior at home and in public.

The course is $200, runs 6 weeks, and is open to dogs 6 months and older with basic manner and leash skills.

Dogs must be current on their DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies.
