Then look no further! A Canine Understanding offers Beginning Obedience Classes in the Park Spring through Fall. This setting allows you to work your dog amongst distractions, so that you can build better focus and reliability with your dog.
We use positive reinforcement training techniques to help you achieve your goals while having fun with your dog.

Over the 6-week course, your dog will begin to develop a foundation in:

Beginning Leash Manners
-
Sit
-
Down
-
Stay
-
Come
-
Relax in place

Additionally, we will cover:​

Politely Greeting strangers
-
Teaching impulse control
-
How to effectively set up rules and boundaries at home
-
How to move past unwanted behaviors
-
Jumping Up

Class Requirements:
Current DHPP, Bordetella & Rabies
​
The cost for the 6-week course is $220.​
Classes are limited to a maximum of 6 dogs to ensure you receive the attention and instruction needed for you and your dog to succeed. This class is ideal for dogs ages 6 months and older.
