At A Canine Understanding we are happy to offer grooming services to fit your dog's needs. I schedule only one dog at a time and use positive reinforcement training during grooming to ensure your dog has the best experience possible. I accept all breeds ages 8 weeks and older.

Hand Stripping
$75 an hr

Hand stripping is the recommended grooming practice for wire-coated breeds. The process involves removing dead hairs from the coat by hand instead of clipping. Hand stripping removes the hair at the root opposed which keeps the coat tidy and healthy and enables the dog to grow a whole new luscious coat each time.

Nail Trim Only 
$10

Dogs nails are trimmed through the use of a Dremel; which files the nails down smoothly without the risk of clipping the quick.
